**Description**

**SAIC** is seeking a motivated **Mechanical Engineer** in **Middletown, RI** to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians. You’ll help bring mechanical designs from concept through fabrication and testing, working under the direction of senior engineers.

**Job Duties** :

+ Support the design of automated test hardware for land-based testing of naval systems and underwater applications.
+ Create CAD parts and assemblies and contribute to technical data packages.
+ Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers to keep assemblies and deliverables on schedule.
+ Assist with prototype assembly, integration, and testing of hardware.
+ Participate in customer and team meetings and report task status.
+ Manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
