Position Overview
a) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and engineer high-performance kinematic structures and enclosures for robotics applications.
b) Create high-fidelity 3D models and manufacturing-ready 2D drawings. Apply GD&T to define critical tolerances, ensuring seamless fitment for complex part and assembly drawings under senior guidance.
c) Operate in-house 3D printers and workshop tools to build, assemble, and test functional drone prototypes.
d) Assist in liaising with external vendors and collaborators to track component fabrication and ensure technical specifications are met.
e) Apply engineering principles to recommend optimal materials and fabrication methods that balance technical requirements with budgetary constraints.
f) Incorporate DFM/DFA principles into CAD models to ensure designs are optimized for machining, molding, or assembly.
