Join Vital Energi at Port Clarence, a new energy‑from‑waste biomass facility in Teesside, to serve as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician. The role supports the Maintenance Manager and Engineer in maintaining the facility’s high‑pressure boilers, flue gas treatment systems, steam turbines, generators, ash handling equipment and auxiliary balance‑of‑plant.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards in health and safety performance, cultural compliance, environmental requirements and site housekeeping.
• Comply with and actively support company procedures, continuous improvement initiatives, and quality systems.
• Promote a safety‑first environment, ensuring personnel act safely and report unsafe acts or conditions immediately.
• Investigate accidents or near‑misses promptly with management, ensuring unsafe practices or conditions are resolved.
