Mechanical Stress Engineer - Aerospace (Contractor) Location: Camberley Contract: 12 months Our client, a leading aerospace organisation, is hiring a Mechanical Stress Engineer to support aircraft interior modification certification. This is a contract role working as a contingent worker, primarily delivering structural substantiation documentation for interior upgrades such as seating, monuments, LOPAs, PSUs, LRUs, and more. You will collaborate with global engineering teams to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards. What you'll be doing: Lead certification activities and produce structural substantiation reports for interior modifications. Develop calculations, stress reports, load paths, and FEA models to demonstrate structural integrity. Review and author certification documentation aligned with regulatory and customer requirements.
