Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Mechanical Technician to join a team developing the next-generation High Energy Laser (HEL) weapon systems for national defense. These systems are designed to be rugged, compact, and capable of thriving in the most challenging environments. In this hands-on role, you will be instrumental in assembling precision components that power cutting-edge laser technology.
Work Environment: This position is based in Longmont, CO within a dynamic manufacturing environment
What You’ll Do:

+ Perform mechanical assembly using hand and power tools based on engineering prints, schematics, and BOMs

+ Support soldering and assembly tasks for advanced laser systems

+ Assist in designing and building test fixtures for HEL components

+ Contribute to the development of systems that will define the future of directed energy weapons
