Job Description
The Medical Assistant supports a busy outpatient sports medicine practice by ensuring exam rooms are fully prepared, patient charts are organized, and visits run smoothly and efficiently. This role focuses on room readiness, chart preparation, confirmation of vitals, and coordination of imaging so the physician can deliver high-quality care to a high volume of patients each day.
Responsibilities

+ Prepare exam rooms each day so they are fully stocked and ready before the physician begins seeing patients.

+ Complete chart preparation the night before, including reviewing the Athena schedule and organizing all necessary documentation for the next day’s visits.

+ Ensure x-ray discs and other imaging are loaded and ready in advance so the physician can review them quickly during patient encounters.
