Job Summary: The Medical Assistant GI assists providers with patient examinations, diagnostic procedures, treatments and care coordination for the purpose of facilitating effective delivery of patient care and patient satisfaction. This role is responsible for direct provision of ancillary services or advanced, specialized knowledge or experience integral to their job function.

Minimum Education: High School diploma or GED

Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates Certification, preferred.

Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year. New graduate Medical Assistants or those with 1 year of recent related experience, preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong understanding of healthcare delivery processes in the medical office. Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and other applicable software. Excellent communication skills...
