Job Description:Medical Assistants I provide patient care under the orders and guidance of clinicians in accordance with Client clinic protocols and policies. Medical Assistant I, under Clinic Operations Management supervision, will perform various assignments within their scope of practice to support comprehensive quality medical care. Medical Assistants will be providing support in various clinic departments within Client that include, but not limited to, Primary Care, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Optometry, and Podiatry.Essential Responsibilities:Prepare, clean and stock exam rooms daily as per supply/instrument check listReview electronic patient chart information to prepare for patient visitsHuddle daily with providers to plan for patient visits.Prepare patients for exams to include, but not limited to, point of care tests or procedureDocument completed patient screening questionnaire in EHRPrepare instruments, equipment and trays for patient visitsPend in-house lab orde...
