Job Description
This back-office Medical Assistant role supports a busy Movement Disorder Center within an adult neurology practice, with a strong focus on phone-based patient coordination and occasional pediatric neurology clinic support. The position centers on managing patient calls, coordinating diagnostic testing, and collaborating closely with nurses and providers, while also rotating into a pediatric neurology clinic to support procedures for children with cerebral palsy.
Responsibilities

+ Answer a high volume of patient phone calls (approximately 90% of the role) and respond promptly, professionally, and with empathy.

+ Gather and document patient information accurately during phone calls and relay appropriate messages to nurses and providers.
