**Position Overview**

The Medical Director of the Surgical Optimization Clinic provides clinical and operational leadership for a multidisciplinary perioperative medicine program focused on optimizing patients prior to surgery. This role oversees daily advanced practice provider (APP) operations, delivers limited direct patient care, and partners with surgeons, nursing, anesthesia, and administrative leaders to streamline perioperative evaluations.
