Medical Lab Technologist - Molecular Genetics

Position Description

The Medical Lab Technologist performs and is responsible for a variety of laboratory tests and procedures and acts in accordance with the mission, vision, values and goals of the Department of Paediatric Laboratory Medicine (DPLM) and those of the Hospital. They will support a day shift, Monday to Friday lab . The Medical Lab Technologist will work in the Molecular Genetics Laboratory within the Division of Genome Diagnostics.

The Division of Genome Diagnostics (Molecular Genetics, Cytogenetics and Microarray, Clinical Fibroblast Service) specializes in advanced genetic testing for rare disorders and cancers affecting the paediatric population.
