Medical Office Assistant, Student Wellness Centre

Description

Primary Purpose: To participate in, and monitor the delivery of, all medical office assistant functions within the Student Wellness Centre (SWC), which is an interdisciplinary Primary Health Care site.

Nature of Work: Reporting to the Director, Student Health and Wellbeing, and the Office Administrator for administrative duties, to the Nurse Practitioner for clinical duties, and with day-to-day guidance from the physician and nursing personnel, this position supports clinical operations. This position is of moderate complexity, constantly prioritizing multiple tasks. The position will be assisted by clinical staff in determining appropriate action for complex issues and decisions.
