Position Overview

The Medical Records Clerk is responsible for assembling, organizing, and maintaining patients' health information and charts. You will perform basic administrative, operational, customer support, and data-entry tasks, primarily working on routine, structured assignments. You will report to the Center Administrator.

**Job Functions:**

+ Ensure all medical forms are identified, completed, and signed
+ Enter required patient information into the electronic records system
+ Communicate with physicians and staff to clarify diagnoses or obtain additional information
+ Assign codes to diagnoses and procedures
+ Operate within defined work expectations, quality standards, and priorities, under close supervision and established guidelines
