Qualifications

• Grade 12.
• MBBCh appropriate qualification that allows registration with HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner and proof of current registration.
• At least 6 months experience in psychiatry clinical services as an independent medical practitioner.
• Be able to register as a candidate for MMed Psychiatry at the University of Pretoria (UP) and FC Psych SA (Colleges of Medicine–SA) (CMSA).
• RECOMMENDATIONs: To have a Diploma in Mental Health and FC Psych Part 1.

Duties

• The post is a 4-year joint‑appointment as a registrar in psychiatry at the Dept. of Psychiatry at the University of Pretoria (UP) and Weskoppies Hospital.
