Summary This position serves as a Medical Technician located at the Spark M. Matsunaga Ambulatory Care Clinic (ACC) Laboratory in the Veteran Affairs Pacific Islands Health Care System (VA PIHCS) catchment area in Honolulu, HI. Performs proper specimen collection (tube type/size) is based upon knowledge and standard operating procedures regarding blood specimen types, anticoagulants, transport conditions, test requested, patient criteria (i.e., fasting) and medical staff input.
