A Medical Technologist opportunity is available in Brooksville, FL. This full-time position is based in a clinical laboratory setting where you will perform stat and routine testing across Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology sections.


The role. Working under the direction of a Laboratory Supervisor, Manager, or Director, you will apply theoretical concepts of laboratory medicine and independent judgment to deliver timely and accurate results across multiple technical disciplines. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing stat procedures within established turnaround time targets, executing quality control protocols and completing all required documentation, and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions as they arise. You will analyze proficiency testing samples, review pending and result logs to resolve outstanding workload, and take corrective action when patient, control, calibration, or proficiency results fall outside acceptable parameters.
