What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Food Store Manager, the Meat Manager will play a key role in providing leadership and guidance in supporting the overall business objectives of the department. As a hands-on leader, the Meat Manager will be responsible for day-to-day execution of tasks within the meat department and work alongside team members to deliver exceptional service adding value to our customers. Additional responsibilities include:
Maintain staff levels by recruiting, selecting, orientating, developing personal growth opportunities and training employees
Achieve results by communicating job expectations via planning, monitoring, and appraising performance through talent management, including coaching and disciplining employees
Ensure all staff adhere to Co-op standards regarding merchandising, signage, staff appearance, housekeeping, health & safety and loss prevention.
