Position Summary

We have a permanent full‑time opportunity for a Mental Health and Substance Use (MHSU) Counselling & Treatment Clinician to join our high‑functioning MHSU Integrated Child & Youth (ICY) team at the Lillooet Health Centre in Lillooet, B.C. This position is based in Lillooet, but travel will be required within the Lillooet, Ashcroft and Lytton areas.

Who are we looking for?

The clinician will have a strong understanding of substance use and its effects, adolescent cognitive, social, emotional, and interpersonal development, and be trained to utilize Motivational Interviewing (MI) skills, group facilitation techniques, experiential education techniques, crisis intervention, and suicide risk assessment and intervention. Previous experience working directly with youth and community MHSU is required.
