General Requirements:
Master’s degree in counseling, counselor education, social work, psychology, or a closely related mental health field. Eligible for provisional licensure or currently licensed in Texas as an LPC -Associate, LCSW -Intern, or equivalent.

Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties:
Provides professional counseling services to the student body of Sam Houston State University under the supervision of a licensed clinician. Supports the emotional, developmental, and mental health needs of students through individual, couples, and group counseling, crisis intervention, outreach programming, and consultation.
