MENTAL HEALTH PRACTITIONER (P/T)

24 hours per week across 3 days.

Termtime plus INSET (34 working weeks).

Role Overview

The role of the Mental Health Practitioner will support the holistic assessment of pupils’ mental health and well‑being needs. The role will not only provide support to our pupils but also their families through mental health promotion, prevention and early intervention approaches.

Qualifications

• Qualified as a Social Worker, Nurse or Occupational Therapist.
• Previous experience in child and youth mental health provision.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
