Responsibilities Mental Health Technician / Patient Tech
Turning Point Care Center has an opening for PRN Mental Health Tech (MHT) for our men's partial programs. MHTs play a vital role in providing excellent care for our patients and are a member of the interdisciplinary team who assists in total client care through implementation of appropriate therapeutic approaches.
Provide direct patient care within a multidiscipline team approach.Maintains a safe, therapeutic environment.Maintain accurate and complete data and records.Intervenes with suicidal gestures, inappropriate behaviors, elopements, etc., using proper CPI technique.Therapeutically communicate with patients. Assists in developing appropriate boundaries and helps to develop social skills.Directs/redirects behaviors, demonstrating appropriate behavioral consequences.
