Part time contract: 19.5 hours per week.</p> <p>The Microbiology Department in the Mater Hospital provides a clinical microbiology service to the hospital and general practice in the catchment area. Services include bacteriology, mycology, parasitology, tuberculosis, and a molecular diagnostic service. The Microbiology department has four Consultant Clinical Microbiologists, three Specialists Registrars, and two Registrars. Microbiology registrars are well supervised, with several consultant led multi -disciplinary team meetings (MDTs) weekly.
