Overview

This position is in support of military members at Camp Lemonnier. Candidates must be willing to travel to Africa for a period of 6 months to a year. Military service is strongly desired; MFLC experience is a plus. Must be able to work in an extremely hot environment and possess physical agility. Medical examinations and required vaccinations will be necessary. Candidates must be a licensed clinician at an independent practice level in any U.S. state.

Responsibilities

• Provides non‑medical, short‑term, solution focused, walk around counseling directly to eligible service and family members at assigned primary and secondary locations. Services include assessment, brief counseling and consultation, action planning, referral to resources (assuring linkage as appropriate), and follow‑up as indicated.
