Mining Survey & Construction Technician (surface) – based in one of our Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury, Thunder Bay, or Timmins locations. This new position reports to the Project Manager and focuses on providing mining survey support and material testing services. Salary: $52,000 – $62,000 annually.

What you’ll do

• Perform volumetric surveys for quantity validation using conventional survey equipment and drones
• Perform construction layout and as-built surveys in support of infrastructure and structure construction
• Perform settlement monitoring surveys using total station equipment and digital levels
• Stake alignments and grades
• Perform routine check surveys to maintain precision and accuracy in mine survey data and control points, ensuring survey stations are properly tied-in
