JOB PURPOSE
The Nurse Practitioner participates in the planning and delivery of Addiction and Mental Health as well as Primary Health care needs, to meet individual patient needs in accordance with the philosophy, objectives and policies of the profession and program. May be required to work at other addiction & mental health facilities as operationally required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Registered with the Nurses Association of New BrunswickHigh regard for confidentiality and advocacy for patientsMinimum of 1950 hours of recent and direct A/MH experience within the last 2 yearsPost Secondary Certificate in Mental Health Nursing or CNA certification would be an assetCurrent BLS and willing to obtain Non – Violent Crisis Intervention, Concurrent Disorder Modules, Addictions 101.Willingness to maintain re-certifications as requiredHigh level of interpersonal skills; ability to work well within a team and i...
