Job Description
- Set up and operate horizontal and vertical boring mills (manual and CNC).
- Perform precision boring, drilling, facing, and threading operations..
- Select, mount, and maintain appropriate tooling and cutting inserts.
- Adjust feeds, speeds, and cutting parameters for different materials (steel, stainless steel, cast iron).
- Conduct preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting of boring mills.
- Ensure dimensional tolerances and surface finish requirements are met.
- Maintain accurate inspection and job records.
- Assist in continuous improvement of machining processes.
- Mentorship of junior machinists and apprentices.
