Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Auto Hobby, Beale AFB, CA.. This position is a FLEX and is not guaranteed hours, but may have you work anywhere between 0 - 40 hours a week. Physical Effort: Frequent bending, reaching, and working in awkward positions when performing work in lube pits or from car racks. Occasional heavy lifting of objects weighing up to 40 pounds. Responsibilities The purpose of the position is to perform a variety of tasks related to servicing vehicles. Drains and changes lubricants in crank cases, differentials and transmissions, lubricates vehicles and replaces oil and air filters, checks fluid levels in braking systems and power steering reservoirs. Replaces accessories such as rear view mirrors, rotates, replaces and/or repairs tube and tubeless tires with a plugger or hot or cold patch.
