POSITION: Monitor (Bus)

LOCATION: Transportation Department

REPORTS TO: Building Administrator, District Administrator, or Department Supervisor/Director


GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Monitors help the District by assisting in routine, non-teaching duties including, but not limited to, pupil supervision in school, on school property, and at school related functions.

HOURS: Approximately 4 Hours M-F as Bus Monitor (2 hours in the AM/2 hours in the PM)

Purpose: The Monitor will have the primary responsibility of providing routine non-teaching duties including student supervision in school, on school property, school vehicles, and at school related functions. The Monitor will also have the primary responsibility of being the “face” of the building/department and ensuring all patrons receive a warm and friendly greeting.
