Summary This position is located within the Department of the Interior, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 4, Chattahoochee Forest National Fish Hatchery, in Suches, Georgia. Responsibilities Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Operate gasoline and diesel vehicles, distribution trucks and tanks, cars, pickups, and UTV's. Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on motor vehicles, distribution trucks, fish feeders, lawn mowers, water pumps and utility trucks. Adjusts the water supply system to regulate a variety of equipment necessary for the production of fish. Perform ground maintenance including mowing lawns, weed eating, using blowers, trimming shrubs, planting trees, spraying and other associated work. This includes operating farm type tractors with attachments, riding lawnmowers and push lawnmowers over flat or rolling topography.
