Adventist Outpatient Imaging Services is hiring an MRI Technologist for our Silver Spring, MD location. Qualified candidates will be eligible for a $15,000 sign-on bonus. (Current AHC employees not eligible - see below under additional details.)
As an MRI Tech you will:
• Demonstrates proficiency in operating MRI scanners and all ancillary equipment. Must be able assist in training new employees in their use. Properly identifies and performs MRI safety procedures on all patients including those with implantable devices.
• Understands principles and dangers involved in the administration of oral and intravenous contrast. Identifies contraindications to IV contrast administration and recognizes symptoms of IV contrast reactions.
• Initiates cost saving measures with Manager and Director's approval.
