Responsibilities:
Establish, manage and maintain the Allscripts Global Managed Services Storage and Backup infrastructure that meets agreed functional requirements and customer expectations.
Backup : EMC Avamar, Commvault & Data Domain
- Strong background (3 to 5 years) in backup technologies EMC Avamar, Commvault backup tool and Data Domain
- Master server, Media server configuration and connectivity.
- Local database backup and log pursing.
- Add-remove of appropriate backup data agents for Exchange, SQL, etc as needed.
- Configure LAN and SAN & NAS based backups using EMC Avamar, Commvault.
- Configure all kind of Database (oracle, SQL etc.) backups and restores.
