You will join the MSG3 Team. The MSG‑3 (Maintenance Steering Group) presents a methodology used for developing scheduled maintenance tasks and intervals that are acceptable to regulatory authorities, operators and manufacturers. The aim is to recognize the inherent reliability of aircraft systems and components, avoid unnecessary maintenance tasks and achieve increased efficiency.

The basic goal of MSG‑3 is to identify maintenance tasks that are both effective and efficient, enabling a new aircraft to be designed and operated safely and reliably throughout its life. The process is applied to the following sections:

• Systems and Powerplant (including components and APUs)
• Aircraft Structures
• Zonal Inspections
• Lightning/High Intensity Radio Frequency (L/HIRF)

• Aeronautical engineer (other engineering backgrounds may be considered based on experience)
