**R** **ole Purpose**

+ The Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is a field-based scientific expert who develops trusted partnerships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, and academic institutions to advance patient care and scientific knowledge in diabetes management.
+ The Senior MSL generates medical insights, supports evidence generation initiatives, facilitates scientific exchange, and contributes to the appropriate understanding and adoption of Abbott Diabetes Care ( ADC) technologies.
+ Through meaningful collaboration with the external healthcare community and internal stakeholders, the MSL helps shape medical strategies and reinforces Abbott Diabetes Care's scientific leadership.
