Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) such as Radiographic Testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) to identify subsurface defects.
Review and interpret welding procedures (WPS), painting procedures, and technical drawings to ensure compliance during fabrication and coating application.
Prepare detailed inspection reports documenting findings, discrepancies, and corrective actions taken during welding and painting processes.
Qualifications
Possesses a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Engineering, or a related field.
Holds certifications in relevant NDT methods (RT, UT, MPI) and welding inspection (e.g., CSWIP, AWS-CWI).
