The Multi-Skill Technician is an integral part of the surgical team working to facilitate the safe and effective preparation of patients undergoing invasive surgical procedures. The primary responsibilities of the position are to collect patient data and perform assigned diagnostic and screening tests. The Multi-Skill Technician, along with other members of the perioperative team, utilizes resources in a cost effective manner in an environment that promotes continuous quality improvement. Education/Experience Requirements:


+ This position requires a minimum education of a high school diploma, or the equivalent.

+ One (1) year of previous experience in a medically related setting with knowledge of medical terminology is desired. Knowledge of surgical procedure terminology is preferred.

+ The incumbent must possess highly developed skills in customer service, communication, organization, and computer literacy.
