Job Description The Therapy Assistant will be joining our Adult NeuroDevelopmental Service (ANDS) to carry out therapeutic interventions/activities for the patients in this service.
Job Responsibilities - Facilitate to carry out observation in the ward that includes:
- Behaviour observation methods (i.e. ABC chart, frequency monitoring, Setting Event Checklist)
- Communication style of patients
- Activities of daily living
- Carry out prescribed sensory, behavioural and communication strategies with selected patients.
- Train, supervise, maintain the functional skills of patients in the areas of basic activities for daily living, community living, social and recreational participation.
