I am a mother in Elmsdale, Nova Scotia, looking to hire a dedicated nanny to care for my children. I have a 1 year old and a primary school-aged child, so i need someone who is experienced in providing care for both age groups but the care will mostly be for the younger child as my oldest is in school and has other full time childcare.
This position is casual/part time and live-out but could consider overnights with the right person, in our home. We offer a competitive pay rate of $20 per hour. I am willing to negotiate price for the right fit though.
As our nanny, your responsibilities will include ensuring a safe and nurturing environment, preparing meals, and engaging the children in educational activities and play. We value someone who is warm, caring, and has a passion for working with children and is comfortable with animals (dog and cats). I will be working as a nurse after my mat leave is over.
