Under the general direction of the Water Meter Installation Project Manager, the Field Services Technician/Water Meter Installer removes old residential water meters and installs new electronic water meters.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

+ Installation of new residential water meters, fittings and gaskets.

+ Recording old and new water meter readings.

+ Verification of proper installation/transmission of new meter data by utilizing tablet PC or smartphone.

+ Coordinates installation scheduling and meets quality/quantity and safety requirements.

+ Provide for excellence in internal and external customer service. Create a positive experience for customers, water users and communities through professional and courteous behavior and producing high quality results.
