Position Overview

            Qualifications: 
Matric qualification 
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology 
HCIP Datacom Certification 
35 years experience in enterprise networking environments 
Experience with routing, switching, firewall and wireless technologies. 
Exposure to cloud networking and hybrid environments. 
Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies. 
Responsibilities:
 Maintain agreed network uptime and availability targets 
Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls and wireless infrastructure. 
Manage all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, and cloud. 
Manage security solutions, including firewall and intrusion detection systems. 
Perform network system backups and recovery. 
Resolve incidents within SLA timeframes
