Practice: To develop, implement, improve and maintain a designated area of the highway infrastructure of the borough’s network through effective inspection, assessment and recording, including financial management within budget and necessary quality levels in the context of providing excellent customer service. To ensure systematic and purposeful reviews of highway inspection, local environment quality assessment and recording. To implement the agreed objectives derived from legislation, codes of practice, national and London guidance and relevant business plans in consultation with line management. Enforcement activities and educational behaviour change programme to ultimately improve the area. As a key role in day‑to‑day operations, you will need to work well under pressure and communicate at all levels.
