Job Summary Provide comprehensive eye care services including examination, diagnosis, treatment and management of visual and ocular conditions. Collaborate with other health professionals to ensure continuity of care and educate patients on vision correction and eye health. Number of Positions 2 Main Duties Perform comprehensive eye examinations, including refraction and evaluation of visual function. Diagnose and manage ocular diseases and visual disorders, initiating treatment or referring to other healthcare providers as required. Prescribe and fit eyeglasses and contact lenses, advising patients on lens selection, care and adaptation. Prescribe and manage ophthalmic medications within scope of practice and monitor treatment outcomes. Operate and interpret results from diagnostic equipment such as slit lamp, tonometry and retinal imaging.
