Prepare and portion meat products for retail and wholesale customers while ensuring quality and safety. Provide product knowledge to customers and support inventory and order fulfillment tasks.

Main Duties

• Inspect, trim, debone and cut primal and subprimal meat into retail and wholesale portions according to specifications.
• Operate and maintain cutting equipment and hand tools such as knives, band saws, and grinders safely and efficiently.
• Weigh, package, label and price products for display or shipment, and prepare custom or bulk orders as requested.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment, follow sanitation procedures, and adhere to food safety standards.
• Monitor and rotate inventory, record waste and spoilage, and assist with receiving and storing incoming shipments.
