Job Summary Install, repair and replace a variety of floor coverings in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Prepare surfaces, measure and cut materials accurately, and complete installations to meet quality and safety standards. Number of Positions 1 Main Duties Inspect and prepare subfloors by cleaning, leveling, and repairing surfaces prior to installation. Measure, lay out, and cut carpets, vinyl, laminate, hardwood, and other flooring materials to fit specifications. Apply adhesives, fasteners, and seam treatments; secure and finish floor coverings according to manufacturer guidelines. Install baseboards, thresholds, transitions, and trim to complete flooring installations. Perform repairs, replacements, and maintenance on existing floor coverings and recommend appropriate remedies.
