Job Summary

Provide daily care and maintenance for livestock to support healthy herd and flock operations. Perform routine husbandry tasks, facility upkeep, and basic monitoring under direction.

• Feed and water animals according to established schedules and rationing instructions.
• Clean and maintain barns, pens, stalls, and other animal housing to ensure sanitary conditions.
• Move, restrain, and handle animals safely during routine procedures and facility transfers.
• Monitor animal health and behaviour, reporting signs of illness, injury, or distress to supervisors.
• Assist with basic breeding, birthing, and neonatal care activities under supervision.
• Operate and perform routine maintenance on farm equipment and tools used in livestock care; maintain daily records.
