Associate's Degree and 2 years of experience preferred Please see job description below: Director of Maintenance Purpose: To supervise and manage maintenance operations and building safety programs throughout the school system. The Director of Maintenance works with staff to ensure that the activities and work orders for the maintenance department are completed in a timely manner, cost effective, and properly executed. The director assists in implementing and monitoring comprehensive workplace safety training programs for county employees. This position reports directly to the Special Advisor for Facilities/Transportation/Operations. Qualifications:

Associate's degree or bachelor's degree preferred.

At least two years of experience in facility maintenance management

A North Carolina State Electrical and/or HVAC, and/or Plumbing Contractor's License preferred.

Salary Range: $5,833.00 - $7,666.00 (Experience will be considered.) Essential Functions
