Premier HealthNet and Premier Health Specialists offer a variety of Nurse Practitioner Hospitalist positions with varying degrees of responsibility within various area hospitals. The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a registered nurse who has completed graduate level nursing preparation at the master's or doctoral level, and is certified as a nurse practitioner. The NP, in collaboration with physicians, provides health and medical care in the in-patient and ambulatory settings consistent with the nurse's education and certification, which may include specialties such as adult, pediatric, geriatric and women's health.
