Position Overview

Summary This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply. Responsibilities The major duties of the Nuclear Medicine Technologist include, but are not limited to: Transfer patients from stretcher or wheelchair to imaging table and explain procedures, positions patients for desired results Prepare room, equipment and material needed for patient procedures Properly identify patient - essential so that mistaken identity does not occur by making certain that the patient ID band and the request are identical Observe patients during procedures and rep...
