• Performs diagnostic studies on a variety of gamma cameras and computer systems.
• Operates equipment without assistance; exercises independent judgment, performing procedures of high quality and with a high degree of proficiency and technical skills.
• Reports equipment malfunctions to supervisor.
• Equipment is cleaned daily and meets infection control standards.
• Maintains accurate patient records and charges.
• Requests assistance in complex situations
• Uses lead syringe shields for all doses.
• Prepares radiopharmaceuticals behind proper shielding device.
• Properly labels and stores radiopharmaceuticals.
