Job Description

:This position is responsible for providing management and oversight of daily Nursing activities to a Nursing Department. The Nurse Manager works in partnership with Nursing leadership and other facility management and departments to ensure the provision of optimal patient care, attainment of financial goals, and development of leaders.

This is a LDRP (Labor, Deliver, Recover, Postpartum all in one department). This is a working manager position and requires 8-12hours a week of in standard clinical shift work.

Shift: Full time, 40 hours exempt leadership position

Scope

This position leads in small hospitals, manages non-24 hour outpatient service areas regardless of size of facility, or has a small number of direct reports ( below 32) in 24 hour departments of medium or large facilities because of specific reporting structure considerations.
