Overview

The Legacy/OHSU Interventional Radiology practice provides services at four locations (EMC, GSMC, MHMC and MPMC) including ambulatory clinics at each site. The IR team cares for both adult and pediatric patients with a wide variety of diseases requiring image guided interventions and management. The RN Navigator is a key member of the multi-disciplinary patient care team, which includes physicians, advance practice providers, medical assistant, schedulers, and other clinical and management support staff. Responsibilities include indirect patient care, responsibilities related to EPIC, patient triage (includes telephone triage), participation in quality improvement, and program and staff development. This position requires independent critical thinking, very strong assessment skills, case management, transition of care, and the ability to appropriately triage patients with complex, conditions.
